How do I get there?

​

The best way to get to  Playa Potrero, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, is to fly into Liberia Airport (Daniel Oduber, LIR).  We will arrange for a transfer from the airport to the villa you will be staying at and also returning to the airport. You will need a passport to enter the country.

How do I get there?

​

The best way to get to Bali, Indonesia, is to fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). 

​

Is transportation from the airport provided?

​

Airport transportation to the villa is included for guests arriving on April 24.

 

We'll have one complimentary group shuttle departing from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) at 4:00 PM. This timing allows us to arrive at the villa after our team has checked in and everything is ready for your arrival.

 

If you're arriving in Bali before April 24, you're welcome to enjoy a few extra days exploring this beautiful island!

 

Since our team doesn't gain access to the villa until 4:30 PM on April 24, we kindly ask that guests who are arriving on their own plan to arrive at the villa after 6:00 PM. This gives us time to prepare the retreat space and ensures we can welcome everyone into a beautifully prepared retreat home.

 

Many hotels in Bali are happy to store your luggage after checkout, and some also offer late checkout (subject to availability). This gives you the opportunity to enjoy one more relaxing day by the pool, have lunch, or explore the area before making your way to the villa that evening.

 

Closer to the retreat, I'll send the villa address along with easy directions so you can easily take a taxi or use a ride-share service.

 

If your flight arrives after the group shuttle has departed, don't worry! Taxis and ride-share services are readily available from the airport. Simply plan your arrival at the villa after 6:00 PM, and we'll be ready to welcome you.

 

 Departure Day

Our retreat concludes on April 30, and we'll provide a complimentary shuttle back to the airport.

 

The shuttle will leave the villa at 8:30 AM. Since the airport is approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours away, depending on traffic, I recommend booking your return flight for 1:00 PM or later to allow plenty of time for the drive, check-in, and security.

 

 Visa & Tourist Levy

​

Before traveling to Bali, there are just two simple steps I'd recommend completing before your trip. Taking care of these in advance will help make your arrival much smoother and allow you to skip the longer lines at the airport.

 

1. Pay the Bali Tourist Levy

​

Bali requires all international visitors to pay a 150,000 IDR Tourist Levy (approximately $10 USD). This fee helps support the preservation of Bali's beautiful culture and natural environment.

2. Apply for Your Tourist Visa

​

Most U.S. travelers are eligible for an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) or may obtain a Visa on Arrival at the airport.

You can apply for your e-VOA within 90 days of your arrival. I recommend applying online before your trip to save time at the airport.
